Mr. Subramanyam, the founder of KSM YOGA is a post graduate in Yogic Science from Mangalore University. He has done a lot of research and his field of specialization is therapeutic Yoga . Courses at KSM YOGA commence only after consultation and a detailed study of the health condition of the person. Mr. Subramanyam starts with basic Asanas and Pranayama and gradually trains the persons and leads them to a stage where he/she can continue on their own. By means of therapeutic Yoga, he helps people with chronic ailments to regain their lost health. As Dr. Lelord Kordel rightly says, "When you are healthy, your body, your mind and your emotions are in balance".

Mr. Subramanyam is a qualified and reputed yoga therapist with the requisite academic qualification and experience in therapeutic yoga. He completed his Masters in Yogic Science from Mangalore University. He has good experience in conducting personal yoga classes in the comfort of your home as well as conducting group classes for Corporates. Organizations such as State Bank of India and Bhat's International Institute of Holistic Health, Mangalore have benefitted from his yoga lessons. His discipline of yoga is Asthanga Yoga or Raja Yoga, which has proved its mettle in enhancing strength, vitality, flexibility, endurance and mental peace.
Mr. Subramanyam entered the field of yoga in the year 2003 and practiced sincerely under the guidance of Sri. R. Subba Reddy, founder of Divya Yoga Society located in Tirumala Tirupati Devastanam. Divya Yoga Society has around 11 therapy centers in Tirupati. Appreciating his performance, sincerity and perseverance, Mr. Subramanyam's Guru gave him an opportunity to work as a yoga instructor in Divya Yoga Society from 2004 to 2006
It is around this time that Mr. Subramanyam realized and appreciated the importance of Yoga, not just for physical heath but also its amazing results for mental and spiritual well-being. He decided to continue his education in this field to learn the science behind Yoga. He joined M.Sc. in Yogic science, under the supervision of Guru Dr. K.Krishna Bhat, professor and Chairman of the Dept of Human Consciousness and Yogic science of Mangalore University. After completing his post graduation from July 2006 to May 2008, he earned an apprenticeship as a Yoga Therapist in Bhat's international Institute of Holistic Health, Mangalore, where he worked for over a year.
Mr. Subramanyam's teaching approach is result – oriented and he is constantly ploughing back his knowledge and experience into research. He has also presented papers in various Yoga seminars and conferences on various topics. He is also a life member of Yoga Practitioners Association of India.
The holistic approach to the practice of Yoga includes:
- Group sessions of Yoga for general health.
- One to one sessions, involving detailed case study of the individual. Understanding of health and lifestyle would be taken into consideration and medical / diagnostic tests, if required, will be suggested.
- If deemed necessary, individual classes will be recommended for persons having chronic health conditions.
- Prescription of appropriate diet and lifestyle will be suggested for faster recovery.
- Health tracking and monitoring will be part of the curriculum.

- The following therapeutic approaches will be employed: Kriyas (cleansing), Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breathing) using techniques like bandha (hold), mudra (lock), meditation and relaxation.
